Chapter 3: Brutal Re-Awakening

Realizing that chaos was about to erupt in the Clover Kingdom, Ladros agreed, getting dressed and wishing the terrorists luck on their mission. They had gotten plenty of slaves from the witches and the Clover Kingdom Magic Knights, so it's not like they were coming back emptyhanded. 

As Ladros took off, leaving his dead former comrade on the ground, Raia and Valdos approached the broken Fana. Luckily, Salamander was still inside Fana, just sleeping, so by re-activating the Third Eye spell, Fana and Salamander would once again be under their control. Raia made a mental note to erase Fana's memories of today to keep her mental state from cracking, but chuckled to himself that it wasn't a total loss. He had managed to copy Ladros' mana absorption ability, which would be a huge help in the war to come. 

Covering Fana in a robe and picking her up, Raia walked into the portal created by Valdos, smiling to himself. 

The stage was set. 

The Clover Kingdom would soon be destroyed.
