Where the Bad Guys Always Win

Stung by the Rose's Thorns

Usagi Tsukino and her friends-Ami Mizuno, Rei Hino, Makoto Kino, and Minako Aino-decided to head to a botanical garden one day, along with Usagi's boyfriend Mamoru Chiba and Usagi's daughter-from-the-future Chibi-Usa. While Usagi was annoyed at her friends interrupting her romantic moment with Mamoru, overall the trip was a lot of fun, and the gang was enjoying a nice, peaceful day for once.

Then, a strange man appeared before them as they were leaving. He seemed to know Mamoru very well, though he seemed puzzled. Usagi thought he was moving a bit too close to Mamoru and tried to tell him to back off, but he got angry and shoved her to the ground before ominously leaving. Usagi asked Mamoru who the strange man was, but he initially didn't know.

The next day, the girls were on their way to school when Rei sensed something amiss. Heading over to the next street over, the girls were shocked to find dozens of people lying on the street, drained of energy. A plant monster soon appeared as the culprit, forcing the girls to transform into their alternate egos: Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, and Sailor Venus. Though they struggled a bit, the Sailor Guardians eventually destroyed the plant monster. 

Before they could celebrate, the man from yesterday appeared before them, with a talking flower pinned to his chest. He recognized Sailor Moon as Usagi and attacked her out of anger, only to be stopped by Tuxedo Mask, alter ego of Mamoru. Tuxedo Mask revealed that he remembers the man, known as Fiore. When Mamoru was a kid, he and Fiore comforted each other after Mamoru's parents died, and Fiore, actually an alien, left to find a flower to show his love for Mamoru. Now, he wants his old friend to be his and only his. Despising Usagi, he tried to attack Sailor Moon, but Tuxedo Mask got in the way and was heavily injured. Before Sailor Moon could heal him, Fiore kidnapped Tuxedo Mask and teleported away. 

Thanks to research by Luna and Artemis, Usagi and Minako's talking cat guardians, they found out Fiore was on an asteroid and the flower was known as the Xenian Flower, a dark being that drains the life from entire planets. Using their Sailor Teleport technique, the Sailor Guardians arrived on the Xenian asteroid, only to find hundreds, if not thousands of plant monsters waiting for them. Since they hadn't drained any energy yet, they were pretty weak and the Sailor Guardians began to mow them down with ease.

Then, Fiore and the Xenian Flower got involved themselves. They proved to be significantly more powerful than the plant monsters and soon captured Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, and Sailor Venus, tying them up in a giant column of vines, which tortured and drained their energy. Sailor Moon cried out, begging him to stop, but Fiore commanded her to surrender and hand over her Moon Scepter. Despite her friends' pleas, Sailor Moon could not stand to see them be injured for her sake and fell down on her knees, surrendering to Fiore.

Teleporting behind Sailor Moon, Fiore transformed by fusing with the Xenian Flower and grabbed the blonde heroine. The ribs on his outfit transformed into tentacles and wrapped around Sailor Moon, trapping her in a crucifix-like position, with Fiore's arms wrapped around her upper chest and grabbing the top of her head. Unable to break free from the bindings, Sailor Moon could only groan and scream as she was rendered completely helpless, while also blushing from having her body bound like this.

Separating from being a giant tower, the vines holding the other Sailor Guardians lined up before Fiore and Sailor Moon. They wrapped around each Guardians' limbs and pulled them spread eagle. Though they tried to break free from their bonds, the energy drain and lightning attack from earlier sapped them of all their strength, leaving them weak and helpless. Sailor Jupiter tried to rally the others, but she was too exhausted to finish her sentence. Sailor Moon groaned in her bonds, asking what he planned to do to them, to which Fiore responded to just watch and see.

Multiple thorny vines slithered up from the ground around the Sailor Guardians and wriggled in place, tempting the girls with what they were going to do. All four girls groaned in their bonds, defiant but weak. The vines then launched their attack and lashed out on the girls, whipping back and forth. Immediately, the four Sailor Guardians began crying out in pain. The vines whipped them not only on the chest and torso, but on their legs, arms, and back as well. Thanks to the thorns on the vines, their uniforms were completely shredded in seconds, with red welts and scratches all over their bodies. The girls' wailing echoed across the asteroid, and Sailor Moon could only watch in horror, tears in her eyes. 

When Fiore became bored, he mentally stopped the whips. What little strength the Sailor Guardians had left had been drained, leaving them hanging limply on their bonds, panting and gasping for air. Pain coursed through their bodies, worse than any trial they encountered beforehand. Their Sailor uniforms were mere scraps at this point, their naked bodies exposed for all to see. Blood trickled all over their various cuts as they groaned in pain or gritted their teeth. But their torture was far from done.

Several other vines soon rose, and began to wrap around the Sailor Guardians. They wrapped around their necks, thighs, and torsos, but also around their breasts, squeezing their soft mounds. He could tell that, while they were drained, they were still somewhat conscious. Fiore turned them to look upon Earth as the spores from the asteroid floated up and began to descend on Earth. 

In particular, he grabbed Sailor Moon by the hair and forced her to watch. He taunted her, telling her that she would be forced to watch as Earth became the new breeding ground for the Xenian Blossom and that she was helpless to stop it. Furthermore, Mamoru would indeed be Fiore's forevermore. She'd get to live, however, as the Xenian flowers would continue to drain energy from her for the rest of her life, and since the Silver Crystal gave her immortality, that would be forever. 

A single tear ran down Sailor Moon's cheek.

Not only was Earth doomed and her friends would be tortured forevermore, but Mamoru was lost to her forever.

She was the reason they would suffer for the rest of eternity. 

All because she got in the way of the Promise of the Rose.
